To increase understanding and acceptance of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and to promote their rights, dignity, and opportunities in society. The day was established by the United Nations to encourage communities to support individuals with autism and their families.

1.Short talk explaining autism and the importance of acceptance.
2.Student message promoting kindness and inclusion.
3.Assembly pledge to respect differences among classmates.

1.Poster competition on “Understanding Autism”.

1.Conduct National or International Day celebrations in your institution.
2.Take clear photos/videos of each activity.
3.Send them with a short event summary via WhatsApp to 𝟵𝟵𝟰𝟰𝟯𝟭𝟯𝟵𝟱𝟯 𝗪𝗔.
4.Your school will be acknowledged as a UN Designated School for Youth Engagement and will receive an appreciation note.
