𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: July 1st (in honor of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal)

Speech on Dr. B.C. Roy and the importance of Doctors’ Day

Students recite short poems or quotes about doctors

Pledge: "We promise to respect and value the work of doctors and caregivers."

2.Creative Competitions

Poster Making: "Doctors: Our Real-Life Heroes"

Slogan Writing: Short, catchy phrases like “Not All Heroes Wear Capes”

Essay Writing: "The Role of Doctors in Nation-Building"

Fancy Dress for Juniors: Dress up as doctors, nurses, or patients

3.Thank You Card or 𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗚𝗡

Students write hand-made thank you cards or letters to local doctors

Send them to local clinics/hospitals or invite doctors to receive them in school

4.Short Skits / 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗦

Topics:

"A Day in the Life of a Doctor"

"The Emergency Room"

"A Visit to the Village Doctor"

Focus on empathy, hard work, and doctor-patient relationships

Invite a local doctor for a guest talk on:

Health and hygiene for students

First aid and basic care

Inspirational journey as a doctor

Topics:

Human body and health

History of medicine

Famous doctors in India and the world

7.Short Film 𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚

Screen a short documentary or animation about doctors’ contributions, especially during COVID-19

Reflect on their sacrifices and resilience

8.𝗘𝗫𝗛𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 / Science Fair Corner

Display medical tools (models or replicas)

Charts on the human body, diseases, vaccinations

Highlight traditional Indian medicine (Ayurveda, Unani, etc.)

9.Doctor’s Day 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗘 Tree

Students write messages of gratitude and hang them on a “tree of thanks”

Could be a real tree or paper tree on a board

10.Community Engagement

Arrange a basic health check-up camp in collaboration with local health centers

Offer free BMI check, dental awareness, or eye check-ups
