Hindi Diwas is observed annually on 14 September to commemorate the adoption of Hindi in Devanagari script as the official language of the Union by the Constituent Assembly on 14 September 1949.

The day provides an opportunity to appreciate the richness of Hindi language and literature, encourage language learning, promote multilingualism, and celebrate India’s extraordinary linguistic and cultural diversity.

2.Take clear photographs and short videos of each activity.

3.Prepare a brief event summary highlighting the objectives, activities, participation and outcomes.

4.Send the photographs, videos and event summary via WhatsApp to 𝟵𝟵𝟰𝟰𝟯𝟭𝟯𝟵𝟱𝟯 (WA).

5.As per the programme’s recognition process, eligible institutions may be acknowledged for their participation and contribution towards SDG-focused youth engagement, education, cultural understanding and community activities. Selected/eligible institutions and participants may receive appropriate appreciation or participation recognition according to the programme guidelines.
