INTRODUCTION

National Pollution Control Day is observed on December 2 to raise awareness about the importance of controlling industrial pollution, reducing environmental hazards, and preventing tragedies like the 1984 Bhopal Gas Disaster.
The day emphasizes safe environmental practices, clean air, clean water, and sustainable living.

OBJECTIVES

MIDDLE SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

• Poster-making: “Say No to Pollution.”

• Making eco-friendly items from waste.
• Short documentaries on pollution and nature protection.
• Slogan writing for environmental awareness.

HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

• Awareness session on industrial pollution and its control.
• Debate: “Is technology enough to combat pollution?”
• Rally inside campus with environmental messages.
• Model-making: Air/Water purification systems.
• Campus air quality observation activity.

COLLEGE ACTIVITIES

• Expert lecture by an environmental scientist/officer.
• Research posters on pollution control technologies.
• Campus audit on waste management and water usage.
• Street play on environmental responsibility.
• Plastic-free campus campaign.

NURSING & PARAMEDICAL STUDENTS

• Seminar on health effects of air and water pollution.
