𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 – 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟲

Also known as: Samvidhan Divas
Commemorates: The adoption of the Constitution of India on 26 November 1949
Theme: “India – The Spirit of Democracy and Equality”
Objective: To honour the Constitution and promote awareness of citizens’ rights, duties, and democratic values.

𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲

1.1To educate students about the Preamble and constitutional values.
1.2To foster patriotism, equality, and civic responsibility.
1.3To appreciate Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s leadership in framing the Constitution.

2.1Preamble Reading Ceremony: Teachers guide students in reading the Preamble aloud.
2.2Colouring Activity: Draw the Ashoka Chakra or Indian flag.
2.3Storytelling: “How India Got Its Rules.”
2.4Patriotic Song Competition: “We Are Indians, Proud and Free.”
2.5Role Play: Students act as freedom fighters or members of the Constituent Assembly.
2.6Badge Making: Create “I Am a Proud Indian” badges.
𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (Classes 6–8)

3.1Poster Making: “My Rights and Duties as a Citizen.”
3.2Speech: “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar – The Architect of Indian Constitution.”
3.3Quiz: On national symbols, preamble values, and fundamental rights.
3.4Essay Writing: “The Constitution – Our Guiding Light.”
3.5Skit: “Respecting Rules Builds the Nation.”
3.6Preamble Wall: Students write and display Preamble in different languages.

4.6Documentary Screening: Films on the making of the Constitution of India.

7.3Unity March: Students carry banners promoting equality and democracy.
7.4Wall of Honour: Featuring Dr. Ambedkar, Nehru, Rajendra Prasad, and others.
7.5Pledge: “We the people of India, commit to uphold justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.”

8.1“Know Your Rights” Campaign: Students educate others about fundamental rights.
8.2“My India, My Constitution” Essay Drive: National-level student entries.
8.3“Civic Tree” Project: Each leaf bears a civic duty written by a student.
8.4“Justice for All” Outreach: Students visit local bodies or legal aid centres.
8.5Recognition Initiative:
