National Cancer Awareness Day Nov 7

𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆
𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟳

Established by: Government of India (2014)
In Honour of: Marie Curie, Nobel Laureate and pioneer in cancer research.
Objective: To spread awareness about the importance of early detection, prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices to fight cancer.

𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲

1.1To educate students about causes, symptoms, and prevention of cancer.
1.2To inspire healthy lifestyle habits and regular health check-ups.
1.3To encourage compassion, care, and support for cancer patients.
1.4To promote volunteerism in cancer awareness campaigns.

2.1Storytelling Session: “Fighting the Germ Monsters” – simplified health tale.
2.2Drawing Competition: “Healthy Food, Healthy Life.”
2.3Health Talk: Basics of good food, avoiding junk, and staying active.
2.4Rhymes and Songs: “Eat Well, Live Well.”
2.5Colour Day Activity: Students wear pink to show support for cancer warriors.

3.1Poster Making: “Early Detection Saves Lives.”
3.2Awareness Rally: Students carry banners with cancer awareness slogans.

3.4Quiz Competition: Facts about cancer, healthy diet, and immunity.
3.5Health Chart Making: Good habits that prevent major diseases.
3.6Role Play: “Healthy vs Unhealthy Lifestyle.”
