Message: “Hand hygiene is the simplest, most powerful act for saving lives.”

1.1 To raise awareness about the importance of hand hygiene in preventing disease

1.3 To promote a culture of cleanliness in schools, hospitals, and communities

2.1 Demonstration: “How to Wash Hands Correctly” using soap and water
2.2 Song/Dance: “Wash, Wash, Wash Your Hands” jingle
2.3 Coloring Activity: Posters of clean hands and germs
2.4 Story Time: “The Invisible Germs”
2.5 Handprint Art: Students create colorful prints with the slogan “My Clean Hands Save Lives”

3.1 Poster Making: “Soap + Water = Health”
3.2 Science Experiment: Germ transfer demo using glitter or chalk powder

3.4 Quiz: On hand hygiene, diseases, and WHO’s 7-step washing method
3.5 Pledge Ceremony: Students take a “Clean Hands” oath

𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲 A student scores 32% in Mathematics. Another struggles to read at grade level. A third has failed Science twice. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀? Their names are placed on a “Weak Students List.” They are called for extra classes. Sometimes teachers announce publicly: “𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.” Classmates know who they are. Parents know their child has been labelled “weak.” Teachers may gradually begin expecting less from them.
