International Day of Democracy – Age-wise Activities

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (Classes 1–5)

⟴Morning Assembly Talk – Simple story on “sharing, fairness, and respecting everyone’s voice.”

⟴Drawing & Coloring – National symbols (Parliament, ballot box, Indian flag).

⟴Slogan Writing – Short lines like “My Voice Matters” / “We are all equal.”

⟴Classroom Voting – Students vote on fun choices (favorite game, story, song).

⟴Democracy Pledge – “I will listen, I will share, I will be fair.”

𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (Classes 6–8)

⟴Poster & Slogan Competition – Theme: “Democracy = Freedom + Responsibility.”

⟴Essay / Poetry Writing – “If I Were a Leader…”

⟴Quiz on Democracy – Constitution, Fundamental Rights, famous leaders.

⟴Group Discussion – “Why is democracy important?”

⟴Mini Mock Election – Voting for class monitor with ballot slips.

𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (Classes 9–12)

⟴Mock Parliament / Mock Election – Full process: campaigning, voting, result announcement.

⟴Debate – “Is democracy the best form of government?”

⟴Documentary Screening – On Indian Constitution or freedom struggle, followed by discussion.

⟴Democracy Wall – Students write: “If I were Prime Minister, I would…”

⟴Panel Discussion – Invite a local leader/teacher/parent for Q&A on rights & responsibilities.

⟴Community Awareness – Students prepare placards and conduct a rally inside campus.
