𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝟭: Pi Recitation Contest

Activity Name: How Many Digits Can You Remember?

Objective: Improve memory and raise awareness of Pi's uniqueness.

Instructions:

1.Invite participants class-wise.
2.Each student recites digits of Pi (e.g., 3.14159...) from memory.
3.Teachers or judges track accuracy.
4.Stop at first error.
5.Reward top 3 students with highest correct digits.

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝟮: Measure and Discover Pi

Activity Name: Estimate Pi Using Real Objects

Objective: Help students discover Pi practically.

Instructions:

1.Provide round objects (bangles, lids, plates).
2.Give string and scale for measuring.
3.Measure circumference and diameter.
4.Calculate Pi = Circumference ÷ Diameter.
5.Ask students to compare their results with 22/7 and 3.14.

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝟯: Pi Poster Competition

Activity Name: Pi in Art

Objective: Use creativity to represent Pi.

Instructions:

1.Topic: “Pi Around Us” or “Infinite Pi”
2.Use digits, circles, formulas, and symbols.
3.Provide chart papers and materials.
4.Let students work in pairs or groups.
5.Display all posters in the math corner or hall.
6.Judges select winners based on creativity and relevance.

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝟰: Pi Puzzle Challenge

Activity Name: Crack the Circle Code

Objective: Make learning Pi-based concepts fun.

Instructions:

1.Prepare puzzles: riddles, crossword, or fill-in-the-blank formulas.
2.Include questions like:

▪️What is the area of a circle?
▪️What does Pi represent?
▪️True or False: Pi is a rational number.

3.Students solve individually or in teams.
4.Score and award points.

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝟱: Pi Skit or Role Play

Activity Name: The Story of Pi

Objective: Make learning historical and dramatic.

Instructions:

1.Students act as famous figures (Archimedes, Ramanujan, etc.).
2.Dialogue example:

▪️Archimedes: “I found that Pi lies between 3 1/7 and 3 10/71!”
▪️Student as narrator explains how Pi was discovered.

3.End the skit with a message about Pi’s endlessness.

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝟲: Pi Chain Decoration

Activity Name: Color the Pi Digits

Objective: Build teamwork and pattern recognition.

Instructions:

1.Assign each digit 0–9 a color.
2.Write digits of Pi on colored paper strips.
3.Link them to form a long Pi digit chain.
4.Hang the chain across classroom/hall.
5.Optional: Write interesting Pi facts on some strips.
