Kumaraswami Kamaraj, popularly known as Kamarajar, was an Indian independence activist and politician. He served as the Chief Minister of Madras from 1954 to 1963.

¹Education Reforms: Kamaraj introduced free education for millions of rural poor children, significantly improving literacy rates in Tamil Nadu.

²Midday Meal Scheme: During his tenure, he implemented the free Midday Meal Scheme, ensuring that schoolchildren received nutritious meals.

³Caste Discrimination: Kamaraj worked to address caste discrimination and promote social equality.

⁴Infrastructure Development: He focused on providing irrigation and electricity facilities to villages.

⁵Political Influence: Kamaraj played a crucial role in bringing Lal Bahadur Shastri and later Indira Gandhi to power as Prime Ministers of India.

His integrity, modesty, and commitment to public welfare led to his posthumous recognition with the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, in 1976.

காமராஜர் என்று அழைக்கப்படும் குமாரசாமி காமராஜ் ஒரு இந்திய சுதந்திர ஆர்வலர் மற்றும் அரசியல்வாதி ஆவார்.  1954 முதல் 1963 வரை சென்னையின் முதலமைச்சராகப் பணியாற்றினார். 

அவரது குறிப்பிடத்தக்க சில சாதனைகள் இங்கே:

¹கல்வி சீர்திருத்தங்கள்: காமராஜர் மில்லியன் கணக்கான கிராமப்புற ஏழைக் குழந்தைகளுக்கு இலவசக் கல்வியை அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார், தமிழ்நாட்டில் கல்வியறிவு விகிதங்களை கணிசமாக மேம்படுத்தினார்.

²மதிய உணவுத் திட்டம்: பள்ளிக்குழந்தைகள் சத்தான உணவைப் பெறுவதை உறுதிசெய்யும் வகையில், அவரது பதவிக்காலத்தில் இலவச மதிய உணவுத் திட்டத்தைச் செயல்படுத்தினார்.

³சாதி பாகுபாடு: காமராஜர் சாதிப் பாகுபாட்டை நிவர்த்தி செய்யவும் சமூக சமத்துவத்தை மேம்படுத்தவும் பணியாற்றினார்.

⁴உள்கட்டமைப்பு மேம்பாடு: கிராமங்களுக்கு நீர்ப்பாசனம் மற்றும் மின்சார வசதிகளை வழங்குவதில் அவர் கவனம் செலுத்தினார்.
